Hi! My name is Tammy Hines and I have been teaching since 1990. I am so excited to be in the STEM LAB! We are going to have a lot of fun learning science, technology, engineering, and math. I look forward to being a part of your child's educational experience at Freedom: A GREAT PLACE TO BE! |
MY BACKGROUND
I grew up on a farm in Bullitt County. I went to Brooks Elementary; but if I was going to school today, the farm is in Freedom's district. I graduated from Bullitt Central; however, my kids will graduate from North Bullitt.
MY FAMILY
·My husband, Mark and I have been married 26 years. We have two children, Elizabeth and Ethan. Elizabeth is starting her 3rd year at the University of Kentucky and she is on-track to graduate this year and Ethan is a senior at North Bullitt.
MY EXPERIENCE
·I started as a substitute for Bullitt County in 1990 then went to Jackson Independent in Breathitt County for two years teaching 5th. I then went to South Carolina where I was in the schools for four years. I came home to Bullitt County where I've taught 2-5 at Lebanon Junction and Freedom Elementary.
MY GOALS
·To help your child grow in his/her science content, problem solving, and engineering concepts.
·To provide a supportive and fun classroom environment.
